video games and twitter

You would think that going on the internet to get information and opinions on new arriving video games was easy enough. No, you thought wrong. The article “Track the Hottest Video Games on Twitter” talks about a new site called TweetMyGaming, which is obviously run through Twitter, that allows potential buyers to see which other games other people are buying in a certain area to better help pick out the game they want. This almost seems quite silly to me because people, unless they tons of money to spend or our video game-aholics, usually know what video game they want or else the genre of game they want before they go to get one. This new twitter gaming cite also shows graphs of which games people are talking about so that people can directly compare games against one another, at least to determine popularity. After checking out this site, I thought it was interesting cool, maybe unnecessary way of selecting a video game.
